Hello all 
Thanks to Hermetic, I am now a member of this web-3d forum.
I am building a 3D island for the 3d chat Blaxxun platform of Revemonde
I enjoy it very much (don't know why though ). This world will have shared animations as a small "game" ( let's be nuts ).
It uses Drawgroup (for getting almost right transparency for several items) and multitexturing.

The Taranis 3D island is thought as an artwork with a history behind, that may continue on other media. It is brought to you by Lornet-Design .
PS: I have never coded so much yet It's great.

Nice to see, that there still games produced in vrml.
If you like, feel free to post some images.
Maybe its worth to post them, (with a little explaination) in the 'best of' worlds(->games) -thread?

Thanks for the welcome Hermetic .
I will make a unique post once the universe is online. For the moment, the 3d universe has only been captured by agents and the screenshots are a bit poor  .
I heard anyway that a sample video of the world was on the route encore ! 
In any case, launch date of the mini-game 3d island is first of january 2010 .

| By the way, my Island is called "Islanda 6000 U" (spanish pronunciation). |

If you come to Islanda 6000 U (remember you can always turn off the sounds if it bothers you) ... I tell you a secret ! Take the second boat for a ride and then have a look under the bouy (in THIS particular order, Arsène made generously scripts for me)... And if you come with friends, all that will happen after you may click somewhere will be shared
As the Islanda fits in 1 km², use the shortcut click+shift to use the turbo walk mode |
